Bridge of Sighs, Cambridge

Shot from just above the surface of the Cam, the covered bridge sits low and heavy in bare winter branches, its traceried windows repeating along the span. Two punts drift toward the arch, chauffeurs upright on the stern, the whole scene held in flat grey light with the water breaking it up underneath.
